It illustrates some common natural disasters like earthquake, fire, flood and so on respectively, and rescue knowledge and techniques for human-induced disasters on the spot like traffics, mine and poisoning accidents, etc., with the prominence of field rescue. It expounds particularly the common diseases (including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology pediatrics, dermatology, etc.) and common operations and medicines as well. In some chapters, it also introduces some diagnosis, principles of treatment and formula of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
