This book provides insight, understanding and a perspective on all facets of productivity management. It defines productivity in its broader and holistic perspective and attempts to clarify many difficulties in conventional approaches. A new model based on systems approach has been developed which is applicable for the measurement of productivity in both manufacturing and the service sectors. The methodology termed as PO-P (Performance Objectives-Productivity) takes into account the outputs of tangible and intangible nature.
